If you prefer Whistler in summer, join us for the CBT for Depression module at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler from July 18-20, 2019.

Whistler—winter and/or summer—is a terrific treatment for today’s screen-time addictions. The six-minute documentary called The Tech Trap is ironically well-worth viewing.

The 18th CBT Whistler will be held at the fantastico ski-in ski-out Fairmont Chateau Whistler from Monday, March 16 to Wednesday, March 18, 2020. We go in mid-March because it’s the absolute prime of the entire year’s ski season, corresponding to the historical records for Whistler’s best base depths (e.g., 260cm on March 15, 2019).

Workshop hours are 7:00AM–9:00AM and 4:00PM–6:00PM, leaving you seven (7) daylight hours per workshop day to tire yourself out exploring Whistler & Blackcomb’s vast terrain (although a ~9:30AM start to the ski day doesn’t allow for the freshest tracks, it’s pleasant in that the morning lift lines have largely dissipated by then).

The 12.0 hour workshop is the acclaimed “triple strength” CBT for Depression module, accredited for 36.0 Mainpro+ credits by the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Please join us in wonderful Whistler and you’ll gain a plethora of ultra-brief techniques to help your patients defeat depression and be happy. General interest topics covered include procrastination, perfectionism, rumination, self-criticism, self-handicapping, letting go of the past, decision-making, and evidence-based marital enrichment.

The head instructor is Greg Dubord, MD, amply broken-in after giving over 500 CBT workshops, and a University of Toronto CME Teacher of the Year.

Can’t make the CBT for Depression module in Whistler this upcoming March? No worries! CBT for Depression is held in Whistler every third ski season. And if you can’t hang in there until March 2023, just choose another groovy location!
