Overview
Please come with curiosity and a desire to engage with enthusiastic teachers from the Department of Medicine, St. Paul’s Hospital. The course leaders, Dr. Alnoor Ramji and Dr. Jane McKay, along with over 80 specialists and subspecialists from the Department of St. Paul’s Hospital Medicine, participate voluntarily to provide a high quality educational experience.
Each participant will have two small group sessions per day and have small ratio interaction with a specialist twice a day for 1.5 hours per session. Group sessions involve: Respirology, General Internal Medicine, Nephrology, and Gastroenterology. We offer additional sessions in other areas of Internal Medicine, which participants can customize based on their unique educational needs (the list of session choices is included with registration). Cardiology will be offered as a practical sessions and a few topics will be covered over the span of the course. Interspersed between the small group sessions are practical lectures aimed to help participants in everyday life as a FP.
Come join us in this educational environment, where you will get to know your course participants from both rural and urban British Columbia and other parts of Canada.
